Books hunting...

It's that time of the year again...Big Bad Wolf sales is back and of course I couldn't resist the temptation to go. Hence, on the second of its opening we went quite early in the morning but the crowd had already swarming the place...


The first stop was at the fiction section and I could spend all day at that section alone if my son did not whine to go back because he was tired of standing and walking around... there are loads of books that I wanted to buy and read but I had limited myself  to buy only two novels because I need to read two more books to complete my reading challenge for this year (but I bought four in the end, haha...).



My daughter was nowhere to be seen since she had her own types of books to search...poor that boy he doesn't have anything to buy since he haven't read a single book I bought him last year...so he was my bodyguard for the day...


The last stop would be the cooking section, again there were loads to choose from but I guess we bought most of it last year, so we managed to haul only two cookbooks...



These are among the books that we bought, the rest are puzzles and sudoku...

Before the end of the schools break, my daughters managed to persuade their dad to spend a day at Cameron Highlands. The original plan was to go to Bukit Tinggi in Pahang but he refused to go for some reasons. He has been busy with his work and study thus he he doesn't care much about going for holiday... i don't remember the last time we went for a holiday as a family... Weekends were out of question since there were more than half a dozen wedding invitations that we need to attend. Musim-musim cuti begini, aku berkesempatan untuk melawat tempat-tempat menarik di sekitar Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur... tempat-tempat yang kita selalu take for granted dan mungkin hanya akan melawatinya semasa zaman sekolah rendah dengan mengikuti rombongan yang dianjurkan oleh sekolah masing-masing... Well, zaman sekolah dahulu aku jarang-jarang dapat mengikuti rombangan , so terlepaslah peluang itu... Jadi, setelah anak-anak meningkat dewasa dan sibuk dengan aktiviti memasing, maka banyaklah masa terluang, so my husband and I, we played tourists and walked around KL... First, we went to Zoo Negara, itu adalah kali pertama seumur hidupku menjejakkan kaki ke zoo negara... it was not a bad experience at all... Kami mengambil masa lebih kurang dua jam didalam zoo dan pertunjukan singa laut adalah antara tarikan kepada kanak-kanak...
