The first step is the hardest.....

I do agree with the expression - the first step is the hardest coz it takes a great effort and courage for a person to change his/her way of thinking and perspective and to some people they'll just never gonna change....

Been working with these teachers for quite some time now (could be a few years), but I still don't understand the way of their thinking or working style....I know that some of them are very good but in certain aspects they just need to learn from others (sometimes, it could be their own students).

Maybe the first step they need to take is to ask questions or to try a new thing, for a change... some hardcore teachers never want to change from their own principles and beliefs that they live by for years.

Another thing is that these so-called excellent teachers never learn from their past mistakes...they keep on repeating the same mistakes and blaming their students for the flaws....little did they realise that everytime they are pointing fingers at their students, it reflected on them.....

I feel sorry for them coz eventhough they are doing the same project or participating in the same competition every year, they never seem to learn anything so as to improve themselves or the students....

I suppose that all teachers should live by this quotation......
"One who dares to teach must never cease to learn"
