MAHA 2012

It was the first time we went for MAHA 2012. We went there with one thing in mind, that is to buy a lot of herbs since hubby was so excited to start our own herbs garden in our courtyard...



The place is so big thus we need to board the tram to get to exhibition places(the showground). We arrived early at around 10 o'clock and just waited for a few minutes for the tram to arrive... 



The showground....we need to download the map so that we won't lose our way around...


There are a lot of animals on display and also for auction at the livestock showground...these deer attracted the kids' attention...

I just love walking under this pergola with with veggies hanging above our heads...

It was a hot and sunny day, the girls were just too tired to explore more places


And finally at noon, before going back we stopped at the makeshift nursery to buy some herbs, this oregano is one of them...

Before the end of the schools break, my daughters managed to persuade their dad to spend a day at Cameron Highlands. The original plan was to go to Bukit Tinggi in Pahang but he refused to go for some reasons. He has been busy with his work and study thus he he doesn't care much about going for holiday... i don't remember the last time we went for a holiday as a family... Musim-musim cuti begini, aku berkesempatan untuk melawat tempat-tempat menarik di sekitar Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur... tempat-tempat yang kita selalu take for granted dan mungkin hanya akan melawatinya semasa zaman sekolah rendah dengan mengikuti rombongan yang dianjurkan oleh sekolah masing-masing... Well, zaman sekolah dahulu aku jarang-jarang dapat mengikuti rombangan , so terlepaslah peluang itu... Jadi, setelah anak-anak meningkat dewasa dan sibuk dengan aktiviti memasing, maka banyaklah masa terluang, so my husband and I, we played tourists and walked around KL... First, we went to Zoo Negara, itu adalah kali pertama seumur hidupku menjejakkan kaki ke zoo negara... it was not a bad experience at all... Kami mengambil masa lebih kurang dua jam didalam zoo dan pertunjukan singa laut adalah antara tarikan kepada kanak-kanak...
