FELT-ing

The other day I was looking forward to having the time of my life doing nothing.....However, when finally  I've got the chance of doing nothing (apart from doing house chores) I was restless (and yesterday I took nap twice in the afternoon).

I guess, the same goes to my mom who is forever glued to the sofa watching TV. So, in the end my daughter offers her to sew their felt crafts, at the moment they are preparing the products for their entrepreneur's day which is going to be held in July..



They sew lots of new designs that they target to be bestsellers....






I follow suit to sew this yellow love-shaped and ladybird key chains among others..actually, it was pretty interesting especially when we see the final products. At least I have something to do to spend my free time....

Before the end of the schools break, my daughters managed to persuade their dad to spend a day at Cameron Highlands. The original plan was to go to Bukit Tinggi in Pahang but he refused to go for some reasons. He has been busy with his work and study thus he he doesn't care much about going for holiday... i don't remember the last time we went for a holiday as a family... How to say no to your boss?

Well.....  the truth is you simply don't......it's something that I learnt that from my previous boss who advised me years back when I jhad just started my early career, the three magic words "never say no". Just the other day, I was debating with myself whether to say no or just accept my boss's suggestion (read: order) without giving him a slightest idea that I'm not capable of doing it ......it's kinda hard to explain coz it's not my job and I don't want to be a scapegoat to be doing it just because somebody else doesn't want to do it.  Anyway, it happened in the meeting, out of the blue like one bright idea bestowed upon him, my boss suggested me doing it ......which, no doubt appalled everyone in the committee and I was left absolutely stunned and speechless........obviously, I didn't make any comment and it was decided then....
