Sport Day
In the past, sport day would start at the beginning of school term but starting this year all schools are directed to hold their sport day in the second term, that is in the month of June......so, starting this month, right after the first term school holiday, most schools will be holding their sport day.....our school held our sport day yesterday and today at my daughters' school...
Holding a sport day at school is not a one-day event, it will have to go through many stages before we can really have a one-day event of sports...first, it was the selection and the preliminary round of every event. Then, the preparation for the marching and house beautifying competitions......both require a lot of time and energy, not to mention money......
There are four houses at my school, red, yellow, blue and green. Mine is yellow and this year we decided that sponge Bob would be our mascot.....so, the marching team and the house would be in the same theme and we would have a pineapple as our house.....and I'm really thankful for the students who contribute their ideas, time and energy in realizing the theme (my special thank especially goes to Azam, Apek, Syazani, Abby, Nabila, Anisha, Tika, Erva and Zikry for your commitment and dedication as your teacher in charge was on m.c).
Without them, I don't think we would be able to get the first place for marching and the second place for
house beautifying competitions, congratulations, guys.....
The red house won the first place for their decoration...
the final tug- of- war between Red and Green houses
Our winning act by the sponge Bob and friends...
Face painting is normal during sport day, even the girls are willing to paint their faces...
The sportsman and woman of the year
Well done guys.......
