An anniversary and a birthday...

So, yesterday the day had finally arrived and its hard to believe that I woke up with the knowledge that it won't be a typical Wednesday morning...(hubby took a day off amidst his busy schedule, thanks dear) its our most awaited anniversary - Our 25th anniversary...


I know what we have been through all these years, its not all shine throughout, I must admit and we have our ups and downs. Nevertheless, it was all worth it and those difficult times have made us wiser and our relationship become stronger...it was just a way for us to learn more about our strengths and weaknesses ( I know that I'm still learning even after all these years)... it added spice to our lives...

And I'm most grateful to my hubby for those wonderful years that we shared...

None-the-less,

Every time we celebrate our anniversary, there'll always be the third person who would join our special day because it is also her birthday - Nani has turned seventeen and she is in the middle of her Big Exam,SPM. Luckily, yesterday's was Add Math paper and she is not taking it so she could celebrate together with us...she has always been the 'baby' in the family and  got to choose the place to celebrate her birthday (even for other siblings)....

She chose The Manhattan Fish Market Restaurant (thank God)...

Before the end of the schools break, my daughters managed to persuade their dad to spend a day at Cameron Highlands. The original plan was to go to Bukit Tinggi in Pahang but he refused to go for some reasons. He has been busy with his work and study thus he he doesn't care much about going for holiday... i don't remember the last time we went for a holiday as a family... How to say no to your boss?

Well.....  the truth is you simply don't......it's something that I learnt that from my previous boss who advised me years back when I jhad just started my early career, the three magic words "never say no". Just the other day, I was debating with myself whether to say no or just accept my boss's suggestion (read: order) without giving him a slightest idea that I'm not capable of doing it ......it's kinda hard to explain coz it's not my job and I don't want to be a scapegoat to be doing it just because somebody else doesn't want to do it.  Anyway, it happened in the meeting, out of the blue like one bright idea bestowed upon him, my boss suggested me doing it ......which, no doubt appalled everyone in the committee and I was left absolutely stunned and speechless........obviously, I didn't make any comment and it was decided then....
