new members of the family

My eldest daughter brought a rabbit home last week, given by her friend...
It is loved by her siblings so much since they have always wanted a rabbit and/or a hamster for so long..
It is taken care of by them and they even named it..Caca Jr




Then, two days later, out of the blue, my youngest daughter called me at work
saying that her friend wanted to give her two hamsters because she is moving 
to a different town.....
Then, I told her if she really wanted to have the hamsters, 'go ahead and have it'
She accepted the hamsters happily.....
Now, they have two hamsters and a rabbit as their pets...
Welcome new members of the family...

Before the end of the schools break, my daughters managed to persuade their dad to spend a day at Cameron Highlands. The original plan was to go to Bukit Tinggi in Pahang but he refused to go for some reasons. He has been busy with his work and study thus he he doesn't care much about going for holiday... i don't remember the last time we went for a holiday as a family... How to say no to your boss?

Well.....  the truth is you simply don't......it's something that I learnt that from my previous boss who advised me years back when I jhad just started my early career, the three magic words "never say no". Just the other day, I was debating with myself whether to say no or just accept my boss's suggestion (read: order) without giving him a slightest idea that I'm not capable of doing it ......it's kinda hard to explain coz it's not my job and I don't want to be a scapegoat to be doing it just because somebody else doesn't want to do it.  Anyway, it happened in the meeting, out of the blue like one bright idea bestowed upon him, my boss suggested me doing it ......which, no doubt appalled everyone in the committee and I was left absolutely stunned and speechless........obviously, I didn't make any comment and it was decided then....
