One day in PD

Yesterday, my hubby took a day off and we took the children and grandma to PD...
It was raining early in the morning but thank God, the rain stopped and it was all bright and sunny the whole day in PD....

Firstly, we went to the ostrich farm there since my children had never been to one...
it was a good experience for them especially my youngest son who was very excited about it....


He was fascinated with the size of the ostrich


The egg is so heavy. said Aan..


There were also rabbits, goats, turkeys, ducks and others.....
Then, after having lunch at pizza hut, we headed to the beach which was a bit crowded, but towards late afternoon it was not so crowded anymore....

Before the end of the schools break, my daughters managed to persuade their dad to spend a day at Cameron Highlands. The original plan was to go to Bukit Tinggi in Pahang but he refused to go for some reasons. He has been busy with his work and study thus he he doesn't care much about going for holiday... i don't remember the last time we went for a holiday as a family... Weekends were out of question since there were more than half a dozen wedding invitations that we need to attend. Musim-musim cuti begini, aku berkesempatan untuk melawat tempat-tempat menarik di sekitar Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur... tempat-tempat yang kita selalu take for granted dan mungkin hanya akan melawatinya semasa zaman sekolah rendah dengan mengikuti rombongan yang dianjurkan oleh sekolah masing-masing... Well, zaman sekolah dahulu aku jarang-jarang dapat mengikuti rombangan , so terlepaslah peluang itu... Jadi, setelah anak-anak meningkat dewasa dan sibuk dengan aktiviti memasing, maka banyaklah masa terluang, so my husband and I, we played tourists and walked around KL... First, we went to Zoo Negara, itu adalah kali pertama seumur hidupku menjejakkan kaki ke zoo negara... it was not a bad experience at all... Kami mengambil masa lebih kurang dua jam didalam zoo dan pertunjukan singa laut adalah antara tarikan kepada kanak-kanak...
