Cinnamon rolls

This is the first time I've ever written anything about food but I think I need to hail this one to acknowledge my daughters' achievement in making cinnamon rolls.  They've been wanting to make/bake it for quite sometime, but I didn't realize that they didn't know what dry yeast was. So, yesterday I bought them two packets of yeast and they just couldn't wait to experiment with it for the first time with the recipe they found on the net.  



They really loved to play with the texture of the flour after  mixing all the ingredients together. It was just like playing with the play-doh...I didn't have to do anything, simply sat and watched them doing it....


The dough balls were left to rise for one and half hours. 


Then, it was done...there were plenty of rolls for our tea in the afternoon.


Ready to serve...glazed with fine sugar.

P.S: they are planning to make pizza next time.

Before the end of the schools break, my daughters managed to persuade their dad to spend a day at Cameron Highlands. The original plan was to go to Bukit Tinggi in Pahang but he refused to go for some reasons. He has been busy with his work and study thus he he doesn't care much about going for holiday... i don't remember the last time we went for a holiday as a family... Playing Tourist

Musim-musim cuti begini, aku berkesempatan untuk melawat tempat-tempat menarik di sekitar Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur... tempat-tempat yang kita selalu take for granted dan mungkin hanya akan melawatinya semasa zaman sekolah rendah dengan mengikuti rombongan yang dianjurkan oleh sekolah masing-masing... Well, zaman sekolah dahulu aku jarang-jarang dapat mengikuti rombangan , so terlepaslah peluang itu... Jadi, setelah anak-anak meningkat dewasa dan sibuk dengan aktiviti memasing, maka banyaklah masa terluang, so my husband and I, we played tourists and walked around KL... First, we went to Zoo Negara, itu adalah kali pertama seumur hidupku menjejakkan kaki ke zoo negara... it was not a bad experience at all... Kami mengambil masa lebih kurang dua jam didalam zoo dan pertunjukan singa laut adalah antara tarikan kepada kanak-kanak...
